Friends of Radley Lakes Merges with Radley Lakes Trust

Radley Lakes Trust

At its Annual General Meeting on 17th September 2021 Friends of Radley Lakes Members voted overwhelmingly to merge with the newly created Radley Lakes Trust. A fully constituted Charity with aims similar to that of the Friends but with greater powers. Over the coming months, the Charity will become an effective body dealing with grants from Developers to improve the pedestrian access at the lakes and continue the conservation work carried out by the Friends.

We would like to encourage you to transfer your membership of FRL, and become a Friend of the Radley Lakes Trust (If you've already become a Friend of the Radley Lakes Trust, please ignore this message). More details of the Trust's Friends' scheme are attached, along with an application form. It is free to join - there is no annual subscription. The form is very simple to complete (we have provided it in both Word and PDF formats). You can also find more information about the Trust on their web-site: https://radleylakestrust.org/

We very much hope that you will want to transfer your membership to the Trust. This will help to continue the great work done since 2005 by Save Radley Lakes, and then by Friends of Radley Lakes, in saving and looking after Radley Lakes. As a Friend of the Trust, you will remain part of a strong community of people who care about this very special area.

We will keep you informed as matters progress. In the meantime, please do return your completed Friends of Radley Lakes Trust membership application form to: rltdatabase@talktalk.net. If you have any problems completing the form, please contact Tim Parker at that e-mail address
